Clinical Olfaction

Our clinic is part of the 2nd Academic ORL Department of Thessaloniki since 2007. It is the only official Smell and Taste specialist clinic in the Greek National Health System.

We treat patients with smell and taste disorders of post-urti, post traumatic, post-surgical, post-covid, idiopathic or congenital cause. At the moment this is the only smell and taste clinic for medico-legal consultations in Greece (led by I. Konstantinidis). It is a member of the European network of similar clinics called the European Clinical Olfactory Working Group (ECOWG) under the auspices of European Rhinological Society.

Olfactory and gustatory disorders are not only of clinical interest to us, but also of investigative interest.
